The VE.Bus BMS NG monitors and protects batteries against over voltage and under voltage of any individual cell. It also monitors and protects batteries against over temperature or under temperature conditions. The device is designed for systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers using VE.Bus communication.
It has built-in Blue tooth. Therefore, the VE.Bus BMS NG connects directly to all lithium NG batteries in the system for central monitoring via VictronConnect. It also receives current and state of charge data directly from the batteries. So there’s no need for a separate Smartshunt.
The lithium NG batteries can be configured in series, parallel, or a combination of both. It supports 12V, 24V and 48V systems. A maximum of 50 batteries can be used in 12V or 24V banks, and 25 batteries in 48V banks.
